For dedicated players of Battle Cats, Uber Rare units represent the pinnacle of feline power, boasting unique abilities and game-changing potential. With a vast roster of these coveted cats, understanding their strengths and weaknesses is crucial for strategic team building and conquering challenging stages. This comprehensive tier list delves into every Uber Rare unit, ranking them based on their overall effectiveness in the current meta of Battle Cats. While some units stand out as top-tier powerhouses, others unfortunately fall short, highlighting the diverse range within the Uber Rare category. This ranking aims to provide clarity and guidance for players looking to optimize their Uber Rare collection and dominate the Battle Cats universe.
D- Tier
These units are generally considered to be the weakest among the Uber Rares, often lacking in key stats or possessing underwhelming abilities that don’t significantly contribute to most battle scenarios.
12th – Nouryou Natsu Mikan
Roles: “Sniper” / “Crowd Control”
Nouryou Natsu Mikan struggles to find a niche. Despite a long attack range of 500 with a 400-1900 Long Distance (LD) range, her abysmal 40-second attack time severely cripples her damage output. The 99% Weaken ability targeting all traits for a mere 3 seconds every 40 seconds is negligible in most situations. Summer Mikan’s performance is so underwhelming that she ranks among the lowest of all Uber Rares in Battle Cats history. Her only saving grace is a niche cheese strategy synergy with Warlock Cat, but outside of that, her overall utility is extremely limited.
11th – Wise Emperor Nobel, Type {Sideways M}
Roles: Tank / Mid-Ranger
Wise Emperor Nobel unfortunately pales in comparison to similar units. He essentially functions as a weaker version of Zeus, featuring less health, a slower attack rate, lower Damage Per Second (DPS), and reduced range. His abilities, including Bounty, Freeze, and Push Back, are all considered subpar due to slow attack animation and short freeze duration. Nobel’s overall performance leaves much to be desired, making him a less desirable Uber Rare to obtain.
10th – Warlock Tadakatsu
Roles: Cheeser / Ranged Tank / Sniper
Warlock Tadakatsu’s design seems conflicted. Intended as a “Target Only” unit for base destruction cheese strategies, his lack of this crucial trait significantly diminishes his base-damaging capabilities, performing similarly to Basic Cat in this role. As a tank, Gamereon Cat offers superior performance. Warlock Tadakatsu’s 1 Knockback (KB) and KB immunity with 160k-200k HP against Black enemies are not particularly impressive. His sniping capabilities are also negligible, making him outclassed in multiple roles. For Warlock cheese strategies, units like Ramiel Cat or Nobiluga are far more effective choices.
9th – Type Kuroageha
Roles: Crowd Controller / Anti-Wave
Type Kuroageha suffers from underwhelming stats across the board. While Wave Immune is a useful trait, her Knockback (KB) ability is detrimental in many situations. Her evolved form is even less impressive, featuring a Slow ability with the same duration as White Rabbit Cat but with a significantly longer 10-second Target Before Attack (TBA). White Rabbit Cat remains a superior option for Slow-based crowd control, rendering Type Kuroageha largely obsolete.
8th – Nuclear Blade King Berius
Role: Backliner / Anti-Wave
Nuclear Blade King Berius can be likened to a Wave Immune version of Crazed Bahamut. He boasts higher health, faster attacks, and superior DPS compared to Crazed Bahamut. However, he deals less damage per hit and his Knockback (KB) against Aliens is not particularly advantageous. Despite these improvements, his low survivability remains a significant drawback, mirroring Crazed Bahamut’s limitations, especially in later game content like Into the Future (ItF) Chapter 3.
7th – Surprise Attack Fortress Trollya
Roles: Anti-Zombie, Metal Crowd Control
Surprise Attack Fortress Trollya is primarily a crowd control unit focused on Zombies and Metals. However, her effectiveness is hampered by a significant 67% downtime, meaning she’s inactive for a large portion of the battle. The inclusion of Knockback (KB) further reduces her consistency. While possessing crowd control capabilities, her damage and overall DPS remain lackluster, limiting her overall utility.
6th – Cat Maid II
Roles: Mid-Ranger
Cat Maid II functions as an assassin-type mid-ranger. While the concept is intriguing, in practice, she is outshone by readily available Special Cats like Cadaver Cat and Cameraman Cat. These units offer similar or superior performance in comparable roles, making Cat Maid II a less compelling Uber Rare choice.
FINAL 5
These units represent the better half of the Uber Rare tier list, offering more viable options and contributing effectively in various combat scenarios.
5th – Issun Boushi
Roles: Super Backliner / Anti-Wave / Crowd Control
Issun Boushi is a solid Uber Rare, particularly excelling in her evolved form. While her 33% Weaken uptime is relatively low, she compensates with a long 550 range. Her DPS is decent, and she possesses reasonable survivability. However, her Slow attack rate, long attack animation, and high cost in Ultra Form limit her early-stage usability. Her first form, “One Seat,” functions as a short-range Angel-targeting Weakener with Area of Effect (AoE), but is generally outclassed by units like Thaumaturge Cat or Kachi-Kachi Cat. Issun Boushi truly shines in her second form, solidifying her place in the top half of this list.
4th – Mimilan Pasalan
Roles: Super Backliner / Crowd Controller
Mimilan Pasalan is a highly effective crowd control unit. Boasting an impressive 650 range, she has a 30% chance to inflict Weaken, Slow, Freeze, and Knockback (KB), each lasting for 4 seconds. Her long TBA is a balancing factor to prevent her from being overpowered. Coupled with respectable DPS, Mimilan Pasalan stands out as a great all-around crowd control option.
3rd – Odin End
Roles: Backliner / Crowd Control / Tank
Odin End is a versatile unit that effectively combines the strengths of Garu and Sodom Cats. While lacking the raw health and damage of those units, and missing Omni Strike and Zombie Killer (Z-Kill), Odin End compensates with superior range. His DPS is only slightly lower than Garu, and his KB immunity combined with 3 KBs before falling makes him surprisingly resilient. Targeting Traited enemies (excluding Aku), Odin End’s Knockback ability is advantageous, and his 445 range further enhances his utility, making him a truly remarkable and highly valuable Uber Rare.
2nd – Geishun Mikan
Roles: Sniper / Backliner / Anti-Wave / Anti-Metal
Geishun Mikan, often nicknamed “Blunt Miku,” secures the second spot as an exceptional Uber Rare. Similar to Chocoladite Cat, Mikan surpasses her counterpart with higher DPS, Crit chance, and Wave Immunity, while Chocoladite boasts slightly more range and pierce. Geishun Mikan is a formidable Anti-Wave unit and truly shines against Metal enemies, capable of even one-shotting 450% Metal Seal enemies. She is a top-tier Uber Rare, narrowly missing the S-Tier due to the exceptional unit claiming the top spot.
1st – Karasutengu Tenten Solution
Roles: Rusher / Anti-Floating / Mid-Ranger
Karasutengu Tenten Solution claims the coveted number one spot as the best Uber Rare unit on this list. Her versatility as a Rusher, Anti-Floating specialist, and Mid-Ranger makes her invaluable in a wide range of stages. Her exceptional stats and abilities outshine all other units in this ranking, solidifying her position as an S-Tier powerhouse.
