- Heroes: Boldtusk – Cheshire Cat – Guardian Panther – High Damage Purple Hero (like Merlin) – Ranvir
- Rationale: This setup aims for a balance of color stacking and attack buff. Boldtusk provides a solid attack boost, Ranvir adds a significant damage multiplier, and Guardian Panther delivers elemental defense down, amplifying purple damage. Cheshire Cat’s defense down is key to weakening the Titan. The 3 strong purple heroes benefit from color stacking while still incorporating valuable buffs.
Option 2: The Purple Power Stack 4-1
- Heroes: Sabina – Cheshire Cat – Guardian Panther – Merlin – Ranvir + Bear Banners
- Rationale: This build goes all-in on purple, maximizing the strong color heroes to four. While we lose Boldtusk’s attack buff, we compensate with Bear Banners for a smaller attack boost and an additional purple hero. Again, Cheshire Cat and Guardian Panther are there for defense down, and Ranvir for the damage multiplier. The core idea here is that the sheer number of purple tiles, boosted by Ranvir, will outweigh the stronger buff from Boldtusk in the 3-1-1 setup.
My Experiences So Far
From my own gameplay, the 4-1 team feels like it has a slight edge in overall damage, but it’s also more reliant on getting favorable purple boards. Both setups can deliver impressive damage, especially with lucky boards and good Ranvir procs. However, bad luck with the board or Ranvir can lead to disappointing results with either team.
This leads me to wonder, has anyone crunched the numbers or gathered data on which composition truly performs better against Yellow Titans when using Cheshire Cat and similar heroes? Is the increased color stack in a 4-1 setup more effective than the stronger attack buff in a 3-1-1, even when considering the defense down from Cheshire Cat and Guardian Panther?
I’m also curious about a broader question: In general Titan battles, is it better to prioritize bringing fewer strong color heroes but including powerful neutral or even weak color buffers (like Wilbur against Blue Titans for his shared damage) or to stack as many strong color heroes as possible and rely on items like banners and harpoons for buffs?
