Where to Find Cats

They primarily spawn in villages that have at least one villager and four beds. For every four beds present in a village, one cat will spawn, up to a maximum of ten. This means a typical village often offers a delightful array of cat colors to choose from.
Black cats have a spookier origin and can also be found near witch huts situated in swamp biomes.

How to Tame a Cat
Taming a cat in Minecraft is a straightforward process, requiring patience and the right treat.
Step 1: First, you’ll need to acquire some raw fish. Cats in Minecraft are particularly fond of raw cod or raw salmon. You can obtain these by fishing in any nearby lake or river. Equip your fishing rod and cast a line until you’ve gathered a sufficient amount of fish.
Step 2: Once you have your raw fish, carefully approach a stray cat. Make sure you have the raw fish selected in your hotbar. Approach slowly and avoid sudden movements that might scare the cat away. Gently use the raw fish on the hesitant kitty.
Step 3: Continue offering raw fish to the cat. You’ll likely need to feed it multiple times before it decides you’re trustworthy. Keep feeding it raw fish until hearts begin to appear above its head. These hearts are a clear sign that the taming process is working and the cat is starting to warm up to you. It’s wise to stock up on fish before attempting to tame a cat, as it might take several attempts.

Cat Behavior
