As the inaugural global pop-up for Jellycat, the NYC Diner cemented the brand’s viral fame, especially across platforms like TikTok. Nestled within the iconic FAO Schwarz toy store in New York City, the diner is a whimsical homage to the classic American eatery. Visitors selecting a ‘meal’ from the menu board are treated to a mini-performance as the chefs playfully ‘cook’ and ‘prepare’ their chosen plush treat, ready for takeaway.

The diner team remains a fixture at FAO Schwarz, and in September 2024, they unveiled three new, exclusive plush additions to the menu. Inspired by beloved American breakfast staples, the updated menu now boasts:

- Amuseables Rene Waffle: A perfectly pressed waffle topped with butter and a fresh strawberry.
