Simple Steps to Schedule Your Cat’s Appointment with Purple Cat Vet
Scheduling your cat’s spay, neuter, or vaccination at Purple Cat Vet is straightforward and convenient through our website. Here’s how it works:
- Request an Appointment Online: Begin by clicking “Request An Appointment” on our website and follow the prompts. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your surgery appointment, payable via credit or debit card. Please ensure all friendly cats are vaccinated against FVRCP (distemper) prior to surgery, as detailed on our FAQ page.
- Email Confirmation: After scheduling, check your email for two confirmations: one verifying your deposit payment and another confirming your surgery date.
- Prepare and Drop-off Your Cat: On the day of your appointment, bring your cat(s) to our clinic during the surgery drop-off window, between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Kindly adhere to all pre-surgery instructions and vaccination requirements outlined on our services and FAQ pages.
- Pick-up Notification: We will contact you via call or text when your cat is ready for pick-up. All cats are ready to go home by 3:00 PM on the day of surgery.
- Final Payment and Records: Pay the remaining balance for the surgery (minus your $25 deposit) at pick-up. You will receive a paper copy of your cat’s surgery and vaccination records. We recommend taking a photo of these records for easy access and storing the paper copy in your pet’s file.
For the special $70 Farm/Feral/Colony package, which includes mandatory ear tipping and rabies vaccination, simply select the “FARM/FERAL/COLONY (MANDATORY EAR TIP)” package on STEP 5 of the scheduling process, under “Confirm Appointment”. If the cat’s sex is unknown, please select the spay option when scheduling.
Important Vaccination Note: It is crucial to note that all non-feral cats, including friendly outdoor farm cats, must have received two FVRCP (distemper) vaccines, with the second vaccine administered at least two weeks before their scheduled surgery.
