We’ve carefully structured our shipping weeks by plant type and climate zone to coincide with the ideal planting time for your region, ensuring a smooth transition from our nursery to your garden.
For our customers eager for Mertensia and other spring ephemerals, we will be shipping these delicate plants first, starting with shipments on March 10th, March 17th, and March 24th of 2025.
If you reside in warmer climates, specifically Zones 9 & 10, your Cat’s Pajamas plants will be dispatched during the week of March 17, 2025. For those in Zone 8, we’ll ship the week of March 24, 2025. Moving into Zone 7, shipments are scheduled across two weeks, starting March 31st and continuing into April 7th, 2025. For gardeners in Zone 6, expect your Cat’s Pajamas to ship during the weeks of April 14th and April 21st, 2025. Zone 5 customers will see their orders shipped the week of April 28th, 2025. Finally, for the cooler regions in Zones 4, 3, & 2, we’ll be shipping during the weeks of May 5th and May 12th, 2025.

Please be aware that shipping to the western United States can sometimes be more expensive due to the distance. Ground shipping is unfortunately too slow for coast-to-coast transit to guarantee the safe arrival of your plants. Therefore, we utilize faster, more reliable shipping methods to ensure your Cat’s Pajamas plant arrives in excellent condition. We appreciate your understanding regarding these necessary shipping considerations.
We utilize reliable shipping services, primarily UPS or USPS (United States Postal Service), for all our plant deliveries. The shipping rates you see are directly generated by these providers through our website. We want to assure you that we do not add any profit to shipping costs; our aim is to get your Cat’s Pajamas plants to you as affordably and efficiently as possible.
