Barnyard Guardians: Put Colony Cats to Work for You!
Are you dealing with unwanted rodents in your barn, warehouse, brewery, horse farm, or granary? Colony Cats has a natural, pesticide-free solution: our Barnyard Guardians! These healthy, beautiful cats are expert rodent controllers, ready to keep pesky critters at bay.
We provide spayed/neutered, rabies vaccinated, feral or semi-feral cats who are accustomed to outdoor environments. For optimal bonding and companionship, we kindly request that you adopt cats in pairs. In return, you provide essential shelter, daily food and water (as cats cannot survive on mice alone), and veterinary care when needed. By participating in our Barn Cats program, you’re not only gaining effective pest control but also offering a second chance at life to homeless cats who may have faced a less fortunate future.
For comprehensive details about the Barn Cats program, click here to download our information flyer. Feel free to print and share this flyer with anyone who could benefit from these furry helpers. If you have questions or are interested in adopting barn cats, please call 614-570-0471 and leave a message, or click here to send us an email.

Prevent Pet Overpopulation: Spay and Neuter at Four Months
Did you know that cats and dogs can become pregnant much earlier than you might think? Sadly, approximately 50% of all pets born are unplanned. By spaying or neutering your pet at four months old, you can play a crucial role in preventing accidental litters and saving countless animals from euthanasia in shelters each year.
To understand the importance of early spay and neuter, click here to read an informative article from Alley Cat Allies. You can also learn more from Best Friends Animal Society by clicking here.
Colony Cats is proud to be a network partner of Best Friends Animal Society, a national leader in the no-kill movement. Best Friends recognizes that collaboration with local shelters and rescue organizations is essential to ending pet homelessness across America.
