Free New Client Consultations: Getting to Know You and Your Pet
Starting with us is easy and risk-free. We offer complimentary new client consultations. This is our opportunity to meet you and your pet, understand your pet care needs in detail, and confirm your preferred method for your pet sitter to access your home. It’s a crucial first step to ensure we’re the perfect fit for your pet’s routine and your expectations.
Key Lock-Boxes: Secure and Convenient Home Access
For enhanced security and convenience, we highly recommend our key lock-boxes, priced at just $10.00 each. This is a one-time purchase, and the lock-box is yours to keep. Having a key lock-box ensures that both your primary and back-up pet sitters can always access your home to care for your pets without needing to coordinate key pick-ups every time.
Holiday Pet Sitting: Reliable Care Even on Special Days
Holidays are for relaxation and enjoyment, not worrying about pet care. We provide holiday pet sitting services to cover those special times. Please note there is a small additional fee: $5.00 extra for visits and walks, and $10.00 extra for all other services on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Plan ahead and rest assured your pets are in good hands even during peak seasons.
Key Pick-Up or Drop-Off: Simplifying Key Management
To further streamline the process, we offer key pick-up or drop-off services for a fee of $8.00. This charge applies if your pet sitter needs to make a separate trip to collect your key before your pet sitting service begins or to return it after all visits are completed. Using a key lock-box often eliminates this need and saves you this additional charge.
Cancellation Policy: Fair and Flexible
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our pet sitters. For recurring midday dog walking clients, we request cancellations be made by 8:00 am, at least 4 hours before the scheduled walk. Cancellations with less than 4 hours’ notice will be charged the full price. For vacation pet sitting clients, we require 24-hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24-hours’ notice will incur a charge of half price (50%) for visits within that 24-hour timeframe. For major holidays, a 72-hour cancellation notice is necessary, and non-refundable deposits are required for pet sitting services during these periods.
Review Meetings with Established Pet Sitters: Ensuring Consistent Care
Maintaining a consistent and comfortable relationship between your pet and their sitter is important. If you request a review meeting with an established pet sitter, there is a fee of $15.00 per visit per sitter. This fee is waived if you are assigned a new pet sitter, as introductions are part of our standard new sitter assignment process.
Medication Administration: Caring for Your Pet’s Health Needs
Administering medication is part of our standard service and is free for routine cases. However, for more complex treatments like subcutaneous fluid treatments, or for pets who are particularly resistant to medication, a fee may apply. We will discuss any potential fees during your initial consultation to ensure transparency.
Excessive Pet Mess Clean-Up: Handling the Unexpected
Accidents happen. In cases of excessive pet mess clean-up (such as loose stool needing carpet scrubbing, vomit, or excessive urination), a variable fee may be applied based on the extent of the clean-up required. We strive to maintain a clean and healthy environment for your pets.
Extensive Watering of Plants/Grass: Keeping Your Home Green
Beyond pet care, we also offer extensive watering of plants/grass for $5.00 per watering. This service covers watering new sod, outdoor shrubs and flowers, and extensive indoor or outdoor potted plants – ensuring your home looks its best while you are away.
