Our friendly staff will get you started with a portion of fresh clay and access to one of our four pottery wheels in the front room. From there, your creativity takes over! Mold the clay, experiment with shapes, and enjoy the satisfying process of working with your hands. Keep in mind that our last DIY pottery wheel session begins at 7:00 pm.
So, you’ve crafted a fantastic ceramic piece on the wheel – what’s next? For just $8.99 per piece, we’ll bisque fire it in our kiln. After 3-5 weeks, your creation will be ready for pickup, boasting a beautiful natural clay finish. Want to add a splash of color? For the same $8.99 fee, you can paint your piece using our permanent ceramic glazes, and we’ll fire it again, sealing in your vibrant design. This single price covers both firings and all the colors!
This DIY pottery experience is perfect for ages 12 and up. Please note that each pottery wheel is for individual use. While a friend can offer verbal guidance, only the registered participant can handle the clay to ensure fairness and the quality of the experience for everyone. If additional individuals handle the clay, they will also be charged the DIY pottery fee of $24.99. Need more clay to fuel your artistic vision? Extra servings are available for $5 each.
