Our core mission is to ensure every rescued cat and kitten finds a loving, permanent home. For those still seeking their forever families, we offer a safe, joyful, and healthy environment within our unique, cage-free facility. Beyond sanctuary, we are deeply committed to preventing pet overpopulation through proactive spaying and neutering programs. Education also stands at the forefront of our mission, as we strive to inform the public about responsible pet ownership and compassionate animal care.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Cat House on the Kings operates entirely on the generosity of public donations, receiving no government or public funding. For over three decades, we have been a haven for animals, having rescued an estimated 52,311 cats and 7,900 dogs. Furthermore, our commitment to controlling pet population is evident in the estimated 90,000 spaying and neutering procedures we have performed. Currently, The Cat House provides loving care for over 700 cats and kittens, alongside a small number of dogs and a vibrant community of peacocks.
